Dana Riad - The Label: Hurichihan Winter 2014 Collection

Doha-based award-winning designer Dana Riad has just launched her latest collection, the Hurichihan Winter 2014 Collection.

The 12-piece collection consists of fantastical gowns and crop tops with matching A-line skirts as well as matching capes and headdresses in luxe fabrics and soft pastel shades like dusky pinks, powdery blues and lavender. For this collection, Dana was inspired by Sultana Hurichihan, the wife of Ottoman Prince Bayezid, who was soft and feminine, yet powerful, and whose determination and passion won over the heart of the Prince. The pieces nail two trends this season: that of fairytale gowns and winter pastel shades.
